Shipping & Payment

On this page we have brought together all the essential information regarding delivery charges, shipping times and the payment methods offered by GOLD SHOP for our home and garden range. The provisions set out below form an integral part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. Shipping Charges

All prices shown on our website are inclusive of the applicable statutory VAT. The relevant shipping charges are displayed separately during the order process, before you submit your order.

Please note: For shipments outside the European Union or the United Kingdom, additional customs duties, import VAT and other charges may apply, which are to be paid by the recipient. These charges are not collected by GOLD SHOP but directly by the customs authorities or shipping carrier in the destination country.

2. Delivery Time

The starting point for the delivery times stated is the day of order confirmation, in combination with receipt of your payment. Orders received on working days before 2:00 pm are usually prepared for dispatch on the same day. Orders received at weekends or on public holidays are processed on the following working day.

Should an item not be immediately available, we will indicate this on the relevant product page. In exceptional circumstances — such as force majeure, strikes or other unforeseen events — the delivery time may be extended. In such cases, we will keep you informed in good time.

3. Shipping Partners

For the dispatch of your order, we work with established logistics partners, including:

  • Royal Mail (within the UK)
  • DHL
  • DPD
  • Hermes
  • GLS
  • UPS (for international shipments)

Once your shipment leaves the warehouse, you will automatically receive an email containing the corresponding tracking number, allowing you to follow the status of your delivery online at any time.

4. Delivery Address

Please ensure that the delivery address provided is complete and correct. We cannot accept responsibility for damages or delays caused by incorrect address details. Once an order has been dispatched, the delivery address can unfortunately no longer be amended.

5. Partial Shipments

In some cases, it may be sensible to split an order into multiple shipments — for example, when individual products are available at different times. Of course, no additional shipping costs will be incurred by you as a result.

6. Payment Methods

The following payment methods are available to you:

  • Credit card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • PayPal
  • Klarna — Pay Now, Pay Later, Pay in Instalments
  • SOFORT bank transfer
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • SEPA Direct Debit (depending on country)

We reserve the right not to offer individual payment methods — for instance, depending on the order value, destination country or other objective criteria — should the need arise.

7. Secure Payment Processing

All payment transactions are processed via SSL/TLS-encrypted and appropriately secured connections. The payment providers we work with are certified to PCI DSS Level 1. The payment details you enter are transmitted directly to the respective provider — complete credit card data is never stored by GOLD SHOP.

8. Invoicing

For every order placed with us, you will automatically receive an invoice, which we send to you by email. This contains all legally required information, including the VAT amount shown separately.

9. Delivery Issues

Should your shipment not arrive within the specified delivery period, or should the package show visible signs of damage, please contact us promptly at contact@goldshop.com and provide your order number. We will then attend to finding a suitable solution without delay.
