Cancellation Policy & Returns

Your Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without providing any reason.

The cancellation period begins on the day you, or a third party named by you — who is not the carrier — receive the goods, and ends fourteen days later.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us by means of a clear statement — for instance, by post or by electronic message:

Your intention to withdraw from the contract must be clearly stated in this communication. You may, optionally, use the model cancellation form provided below — however, its use is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of cancellation before the deadline has expired.

Consequences of Cancellation

In the event of a valid cancellation, we shall reimburse all payments you have made — including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us) — without undue delay, and at the latest within fourteen days of receiving your cancellation notice.

Refunds will, as a rule, be issued using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not, under any circumstances, be charged fees as a result of the refund.

We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided evidence that the goods have been returned — whichever occurs sooner.

You are required to return the goods promptly, and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your cancellation of the contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.

You shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You will only be liable for any loss in value of the goods if such loss is the result of handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics or functioning of the goods.

Exclusions from the Right of Cancellation

The right of cancellation does not apply to the following types of contract:

  • Contracts for the supply of goods that are not pre-fabricated and have been produced based on an individual selection or specification by the consumer, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer's personal needs;
  • Contracts for the supply of goods that may deteriorate rapidly or whose use-by date would soon be exceeded;
  • Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, are not suitable for return once the seal has been broken;
  • Contracts for the supply of goods which, after delivery, are by their nature inseparably mixed with other items;
  • Contracts for the supply of sealed audio or video recordings or computer software whose seal has been removed after delivery.

How the Return Process Works

  1. Send an email to contact@goldshop.com stating your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We will confirm receipt of your request and provide you with the return address.
  3. Pack the item carefully — ideally in its original packaging.
  4. Send the package back to us within fourteen days of your cancellation notice.
  5. Once the goods have arrived with us and been inspected, we will refund the purchase price within fourteen days.

Refunds

The refund of the purchase price will be processed via the original payment method used. Please note that, depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take between five and ten working days for the amount to be credited to your account.

Damaged or Defective Goods

Should the delivered goods arrive damaged or defective, please contact us within seven days of receipt at contact@goldshop.com. Please send us clear photos of the damage along with your order number. In such cases, we will of course cover the cost of return shipping and offer you, at your choice, either a replacement item or a full refund of the purchase price.
